Nutrition GPS ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through the Nutrition GPS application and website (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Data: When you register, we may collect your name, email address, and basic demographic data.
  • Health & Fitness Data: We collect the dietary logs, calorie goals, and macro targets you input into the app.
  • Image and Camera Data: To utilize our AI food scanning features, the Service requires access to your device's camera or photo library. The images you capture or upload are processed to generate nutritional estimates.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process images through our AI vision endpoints to return nutritional data.
  • Personalize your user experience and track your historical dietary progress.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share specific data (such as meal images) securely with our third-party AI infrastructure providers strictly for the purpose of analyzing the image and returning macro estimates. These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements.

4. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: on the web, via Account Settings; on iOS, via the Profile tab. If you're on a platform where in-app deletion is not yet available, use the data privacy request form below, and we will complete the deletion within 45 days as required.
